1961-1962 Chevrolet Dealer Installed Camper Kit (GM Part #985103) $485
Custom camper unit converts the Greenbrier into a complete camping home. Here's the ultimate in camping comfort and convenience - a custom-made unit that converts the interior of the Greenbrier into a combination bedroom, living room and kitchen. To pitch camp, you just park your Greenbrier and you're all set. The complete unit is easy to install, yet converts back to the original vehicle in minutes through the use of simple wing nuts. Rear storage wall is arranged to allow driver rear view vision through rear doors.
Custom Camper Unit includes:
Couch base - with two drawers, each 17.5 in. wide, 30 in. deep and 8.5 in. high.
Two polyfoam couch-bed cushions - Covered with a handsome fabric to match drapes. Each cushion 24 in. wide, 63 in. long, and 5.5 in. deep. At night the cushions can be positioned to form either twin beds or a double bed.
Polyfoam bolster cushion - At head of bead. 9 in. wide, 60 in. long, and 3 in. deep. Fabric matches couch cushions. Actually extends bed to 72 in.
Kitchen counter - With full length Formica top and silverware drawer. Complete unit 15.5 in. wide, 60.625 in. long and 4.275 high.
Rear storage wall - Large center opening for cooler, luggage and miscellaneous items. Storage cabinet on right side contains clothes rod and features 8.5 in. x 23 in. mirror on door. Left storage cabinet features two .5 in. thick shelves and identical mirror on door. Overhead center compartment, complete with door, provides additional storage - 28.625 in. wide, 15.375 in. deep and 5.5 in. high.
Vinyl floor - On .25 in. plywood with chrome moldings. Install over standard floor.
Door-mounted table - 20 in x 16 in drop-leave top constructed of sturdy .5 in plywood. Solid gumwood bracket and supports.
Coleman cooler - 7-gallon capacity. Corrosion-proof Royalite base and interior. Therma-Lock styrene insulation. Lift handle locks lid in place. Model 5213-700 or equivalent.
Coleman jug - 1-gallon De Luxe model with shoulder spout and Pitcher Pour handle. Royalite base. Therma-Lock styrene insulation. Easy-to-clean porcelain enamel liner. Model 5511-700 or equivalent.
Coleman stove - Single burner LP gas stove. Chrome-plated grill snaps off, easy to clean. Model 5402-731 or equivalent.
Drapes - Provide complete privacy, keep out light for comfortable sleeping. Eight sets of drapes with spring rods and hangers cover all side windows, rear windows, and the rear of front seat. Fabric matches couch-bed and bolster cushions.
Custom camper unit - 985103 Complete package, 27 in x 35.75 in x 72 in shipped direct to dealer with installation instructions and mounting hardware. Individual items in the Unit are available on request for replacement and other purposes.
